Going to a new gym can be a little bit nerve-wracking, but the facilities and staff at Blackwater Leisure Centre will make you feel welcome!
The pool is 25m in length with a separate teaching pool, which is 7m and 0.9 metres deep. For those who want to play there's a fantastic flume and even a novelty bubble pool! There are lessons available for pre-schoolers right through to adult improvers if you want to work on your technique or build confidence in the water, plus a new technology called ‘Swim tag’ that allows swimmers to monitor their own progress.
The gym is friendly and fully equipped, whether you’re looking for workout classes or a quick cardio session. There’s lots of help on hand to try new things and push your own fitness goals, or you can just relax down in the sauna!
