About Stanley Park
Stanley Park is Blackpool's most significant park and at 256 acres, it provides one third of Blackpool's green space and one full great day out for families! Take the frisbee, take the football, take everybody!
There is a dazzling array of family events and attractions. The award winning Blackpool Model Village and Gardens is full of gorgeous detail and guaranteed to bring smiles to visitors whilst they marvel at the many handcrafted models. Set within attractive gardens the whole place is practically labelled 'family photo territory' so be sure to take the camera along. Enjoy the park in even more gentile fashion by hiring a boat to explore the park's expansive lake. A peaceful but fun mini excursion that most kids will love.
For those who like a less energetic experience, travel on the charming children's shuttle train or have a picnic in the beautiful surroundings! Plus time it right and you can participate in some of the many events held here including ranger guided walks, led children's activities, live shows and musical extravaganzas.
Stanley Park has a long sporting history that's great for a bit of secret schooling and offers arguably the best outdoor play facilities in town including tennis, trampolines, skateboarding, BMX, pitch and putt, trim trail, bowling, basketball, football, rugby and play facilities for children of all ages! So whatever age ranges you're packing there are enough choices for everyone here to keep the whole tribe happy, so long as you bring enough energy with you!
