Ripley’s Believe it or Not Blackpool is home to the most mind boggling exhibits you’re likely to see anywhere. Conceived by the ‘Modern Day Marco Polo’, it’s stuffed with bizarre items from around the world. Are you ready for things to get weird?
With two floors, eight galleries and its very own ‘Odditorium’, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Spot shrunken shark heads, a 2 headed calf, a portrait of Princess Diana made out of 2,500 penny coins and a fertility statue which has had over 1,000 confirmed pregnancies. See both the world’s largest and tallest men, the latter standing at a massive 8ft 11in. What’s a wolpertinger? You’ll just have to wait and see!
In the words of the founder, Robert Ripley, “I have travelled 201 countries and the strangest thing I’ve seen is man”. That much will be obvious on arrival!
