Blackpool Model Village has hundreds of village scenes depicted in painstakingly accurate miniature scattered through 2 and a half acres of hand crafted model villages. Ranging from Scottish Castles to Cornish Fishing Villages plus a working train, this is sure to fascinate and delight almost any visitor and there's more being added every year!
The villages are intersected by landscaped walkways and there is a follow along style quiz available to help keep the kids active and engaged as well as challenging their observation and deduction skills. You will all be amazed at the level of character and intricacy intrinsic to these marvellous miniatures, with a great many tiny jokes and touching moments to encounter.
There are also regular seasonal and train themed events held here which add an extra element of excitement to the day! Previous examples have included Easter Bunny Hunts, May Day Madness, Summer Saver Specials and the intriguing Invasion Of The Gnomes! There's such a lot of fun that goes into the place as well as the artistic skill that it really is a pleasant place to be with your small folk - who will feel a lot bigger than usual, here!
