Attraction Information
Step right back in time as you explore this incredible Georgian house and grounds, with an incredibly interesting history about the Clifton family for you to discover.
Begin by exploring the beautiful ancient hall. Marvel as you see the black and white traditional stone floor and the magnificent fireplace, imagine the family gathered around the fire for warmth during winter. Then venture into some of the huge house’s other room, admire the hand-painted wallpaper and glittering chandelier fit for any prince or princess.
Then head outside to explore the lovely 78 acres of historic parkland. Get lost in the forest as you explore the wooded areas or maybe have a family picnic in the grassland! Make sure you check out the Lily Pond, home to a whole range of wildlife and even a little boat house.
