- Pottery Centres and Ceramic Cafes
Glazed Creations Creations is run and owned by Christina and Pip. We are both parents to young children and understand what makes things easier for parents on days out. Painting your own pottery appeals to all ages of children (and grown-ups), with toddlers enjoying eating from their special crockery, to older children taking pride in painting special treasures for their rooms or gifts for friends and family. We can even give babies a painting experience – foot and hand prints on ceramic or clay are very effective and popular.
We appreciate that bringing children into a room of pottery sounds rather stressful. All pottery is out of easy reach of small children (as tested by our own), all surfaces are easily cleaned (so don't worry about the mess), and the glazes are non-toxic and washable (Pip's daughter used to enjoy the taste, probably best to distract them with the snacks though!). We have a safe play area for children to use when they finish painting.
We offer birthday parties, with use of a separate party room. We also offer celebration plates and gift vouchers, a great gift for a new baby or a christening.
We run a weekly morning session for Mummies with babies under 1 year old. This is a chance for some time out of the house with the benefits of relaxation that painting brings, good coffee (decaf available), and a chance to chat with friends or other new Mums. Christina and Pip are happy to help rock buggies and car seats or entertain babies when you are at a critical point in your painting!
