The British Schools Museum in Hitchin is the place where learning really comes to life. Going to school has never been such fun.
You can follow our family discovery trail dressed as a Victorian boy or girl or enjoy a guided tour (included in admission price).
Play with Victorian toys, games and puzzles, sit at the old desks and practice your lettering in sand or on a slate and visit the Headmaster's House to see how a Victorian family lived.
Come and enjoy a Victorian lesson (first Sunday of every month). There are lots of special events for families during school holidays, follow the website and Facebook page for details
