The Oxfordshire Museum
A wide range of natural and social history collections and exhibits all related to the locality. They have a few sections which will naturally draw the kids and a few trails and fun packs to help them through the not necessarily as exciting bits!Visit their new interactive dinosaur gallery, if you dare! They have a range of dinosaur activities including 'feed the dinosaurs', magnetic dinosaur jigsaw, dinosaur puppet theatre, dressing up equipment, dinosaur fossils, facts and quiz, dinosaur DVD, wall murals and even an electronic moving eye.
They also house the museum and dinosaur gardens, with fun and interesting features and plenty of room to picnic.
Family learning drop ins (including holographic magic and clever clogs dancing) are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays during school holidays. No need to book, just drop in anytime between 2pm and 4pm. Cost £1.50 per child. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
