South Hill Park
Bracknell, BerkshireAbout South Hill Park
Take a step back in time at South Hill Park! Immerse yourself in the stunning historic grounds, magnificent English Country House and amazing shows, films and events.
Things To Do
South Hill Park has two theatres, a cinema, a dance studio, and creative spaces - all on the grounds of an 18th Century Mansion House in Bracknell!
South Hill Park is often called the creative heart of Berkshire. The park hosts over 300 shows, films and events every year alongside workshops and courses PLUS the amazing grounds are brimming with inspiration and beauty. Its year-round programme features ballet, comedy, pantomimies and dramas.
South Hill Park
Explore Temple Moore's restored Italian Garden, four scenic trails, and two lively ponds full of wildlife. Enjoy accessible pathways, outdoor performances at the amphitheatre, and whimsical sculptures. Wander through the enchanting woodlands, stop to smell the flowers in the rose garden and run around the exciting playground. (It's full of natural play features.)
We would recommend making a stop at the rose garden - it's absolutely beautiful!
Make sure to check out South Hill Park's nature trail. It's full of quirky wood carvings just waiting to be explored as you try to find the mischief-making beast of South Hill Park. (Inspired by a children’s book by local author Jane Howard).
South Hill Park Arts Centre & Wilde Theatre
Fancy watching blockbuster movies or live-streamed theatre shows? South Hill Park Arts Centre has got you covered! Housed in a stunning preserved room on the ground floor of the arts centre, South Hill Park has created a dedicated digital cinema room specialising in independent cinema. They show Hollywood blockbusters, family favourites, foreign language movies as well as live-streamed theatre productions and events. This 60-seat cinema has a homely style and feel and is the perfect place to enjoy a good movie!
They offer a range of special screenings including family screenings, bringing in babies, silver screen hard of hearing and dementia friendly.
Psstt... you can even hire the cinema for private events, screenings and children's birthday parties! You can request a film on Blu-ray or DVD and they will apply for the viewing license on your behalf. They also have a range of more recent titles available.
Ever thought about taking some courses in arts and crafts? What about drama, dance and digital media? South Hill Park offers a range of courses for you to take part in! You can also enjoy some of your favourite theatre shows in the Wilde Theatre plus enjoy free art exhibitions!
Atrium Bar & Restaurant
At Atrium Bar & Restaurant, you can enjoy a range of delicious, fresh, locally sourced breakfast, lunch and dinner. Indulge in delicious breakfast staples (we enjoy the fresh pastries!), sandwiches, salads, fish and chips, pizza and more! Did we mention that they even do sticky toffee pudding? They even offer free fresh fruit for children!
They also offer a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes!
