SandWorld Weymouth
Weymouth, DorsetAbout SandWorld Weymouth
SandWorld Weymouth showcases sand sculptures crafted from Weymouth's iconic natural asset: its golden sand. Weather protected under cover and some as tall as a double-decker bus, the sculptures are all made entirely of sand and water by competing World Class Sand Artists, each exhibit has been carved from compacted damp sand by an individual sculptor.
Outside, under a canopy cover, the giant sandpit offers everyone the chance to have a go themselves having been inspired by what they have seen, with under 5's area including sit-in buggies and Wendy house and all the buckets and spades you could wish for. Win lollies plating games or fill a sand bottle or create sand art for as little as £2.
The sand sculptures you and the family will see at Sandworld will be created very much to the same amazing standard as our others but may vary from the images you see online, as we change things quite regularly over here! It makes repeat visits just as much fun and as fascinating as the first time, so keep an eye out through the link for special themes coming up to draw you back!
