Attraction Information
The Dinosaur Museum is all about having a roaring good time! It’s unique in that it’s the only British museum devoted solely to dinos with skeletons, life-size reconstructions and a few scaly surprises.
Take a walk on the prehistoric side by listening out for a Triceratops, meeting a Stegosaurus and smelling the breath of a T-Rex - pee-yew! Your team of aspiring archaeologists will learn loads from the pioneers of fossil discovery including stars in their field, Mary Anning and Richard Owen. Get up close with actual fossils from the Jurassic Coast, including heads, eggs and even poo!
This award-winning museum is packed with fun for kids with a quiz, lots of interactive elements, puzzles and a chance to make your own discoveries within the excavation pit. Then if all that wasn’t quite daring enough, put your hands in the mystery feely box.
