Geography

Durdle Door Beach is a stunning geographic feature on the Jurassic Coast in West Lulworth. What sets this beach apart is its natural limestone archway, which is famous worldwide!

The beach is known for its pebble beaches, beach shelves, and blue waters - a truly unique coastal experience! The pebbles contrast beautifully against the crystal-clear water, adding to the area's natural charm. Beach shelves, created by the constant motion of the tides, provide opportunities for exploration and discovery. The coastal path offers wonderful walks with breathtaking cliff-edge views, and public transport is readily available for those without access to a car.
