About Castaway Play

Looking for somewhere fun to take your kids? Castaway Play is a treasure trove for super fun, interactive & imaginative play experiences for children aged 12 years and under. Hours of family fun and adventure in 4 magical works, both indoor and outdoor!

POV: You've just washed up on a mysterious island, your mission - have as much fun as possible! Channel your imagination in up to four themed indoor play areas. Whether you take a voyage to the Tropical Beach or stimulate your senses in the sensory room - Castaway Play is the ultimate indoor play experience.

Indoor Play Areas

Do your kids LOVE a sand pit? Feel as if you've stepped onto the golden coast of St. Lucia in the Tropical Beach play area. With a water splash area, slides galore and of course, 60 tonnes of sand to craft an architectural masterpiece out of, it's a brilliant sensory experience for your kids. Lots of seating areas for all the family. Psst, you might want to bring some extra clothes for water play. Access to this area is included in your general admission price.

All aboard the HMS Castaway Pirate Ship! First stop: Castaway Creek. Castaway Cove is perfect for innovative and creative kids. With construction play, an inflatable pirate park, and pirate-themed soft play, it's sure to keep your kids busy busy busy! Learn new skills like how to ride a quad bike or simply lap up the Summer feeling on one of the largest indoor beaches in the UK. Pirates need food so don't forget to cook up some imaginary pirate grub in the wooden play kitchen! This pirate-theme Castaway Play is suitable for all ages up to 10 years of age, has plenty of seating for all the family and is perfect for those swashbuckling adventures!

Venture into the tropics! The Lost Jungle adventure playground has a huge jungle slide, waterfall and splash pool! Get active in the treetop adventure, have a go at the climbing wall, play with sand or become a mini maestro in the musical play area. This play area is great for the slightly older children (2/3 years upwards and lots of seating for all the family).

It can be hard finding soft play centres that really have it all but the Magical Kingdom actually does, and it's so much more than just soft play! Are you ready to enter the magical worlds of fun? Shimmy through tunnels, go climbing and slither down slides. Let loose in the soft play area, or check out the inflatable princess park and sand play. This attraction is more suited to younger children & toddlers.

Inclusive Play Centre

If you have an SEN child or a disabled child, you'll be happy to know that Castaway Play is also an inclusive play centre. Castaway is designed to be a feast for the senses with sensory play at the forefront of each child's mind. The Sensory Play areas include Sand, Water, Tactile Surfaces and Lighting. Within the Lost World Jungle Area, there are also designated ‘Den’ areas for some chill-out time. The play centre offers an Additional Needs Event for SEN children as well as offering them all the same perks included in their visit like meeting mascots! You can't beat a calming sensory experience!

The sensory room is a Space-themed room, perfect for the younger ones, small groups or children who can become overwhelmed by loud noise and crowds. It features tactile surfaces, a ball pit, fidget toys and a fish tank, and is available for children aged three and under. Available for exclusive use at an additional cost.

Food & Drink

Head on over to the Castaway Play Cafe for a delicious choice of food and drinks, including cold and hot food, drinks & snacks! They have everything from Pizza to light lunches and desserts. There is also a food warming station and baby food is also sold at the Castaway Play Cafe.

Castaway Play offers a range of fun birthday party experiences guaranteed to put a smile on the birthday child's face! It is the perfect unforgettable children’s birthday destination.

Their amazing play facilities will keep the children entertained whilst the adults can relax in the VIP reserved seating area. Choose from the Dinosaur Adventure, Enchanted Kingdom, Beach Outdoor, Swashbuckling Pirates or the Superhero party room! Each themed, private party room has its own Bluetooth music system, so whilst the children enjoy their delicious party banquet, you can play all of your child's (and your) favourite tunes!

Travel & Parking for Visitors

There is a FREE onsite car park with disabled spaces available too!

The nearest station is in Congleton. Castaway is 1 mile from there and around a 10-minute walk. You can call a local taxi firm to pick you up. We'd recommend using an online train journey planner to help.
