About Go Ape Buxton

Find your peak at Go Ape Buxton, the Peak District National Park's ultimate adventure destination! It’s one of the highest Go Ape courses in the whole of the UK, so this is definitely one for bigger kids (10+) and grown-ups looking for thrills.

Go Ape is an adventure lover's delight! Expect everything from epic Tarzan Swings to an epic zip line experience and so much more! You'll pack a lot into the 2-3 hours you spend here...

Fun Activities for Thrill Seekers

Got some thrill seekers at home? Treat them to a high-wire adventure in the treetops at Go Ape. Harness up and take to the trees in the Treetop Challenge! This fun activity promises dizzying heights, super-fast zip wires and one of the biggest Tarzan Swing drops - so get practising your Tarzan roars! There are some tricky crossings (and a 159-metre zip wire!) but be sure to look down and admire the breathtaking view as you complete the course. If you’re brave enough…

Super High Courses!

Featuring one of our biggest Tarzan Swing drops, you’ll leap off the platform into stomach-turning free fall before being swung into our giant cargo net.

Buxton’s one of Go Ape's highest courses ever built. Climb, leap and zip through the tree tops to soak in amazing views of Buxton town and the sprawling countryside below.

Awe-inspiring Location!

Go Ape Buxton is located on the edge of this beautiful spa town, this high ropes experience at Buxton is one of Go Ape’s highest. Built high on the hilltops of the UK's oldest National Park - the Peak District!

So, expect spectacular views and sky-high "wow's".

Plenty of Peak District Adventures

Just the journey in to Buxton Go Ape, through the beautiful Peak District National Park, will set the scene of what awaits you. Conveniently located within walking distance from the historic spa town of Buxton, and just under an hour’s drive from Sheffield city centre, you can spend the whole day in England’s largest and oldest national park. Explore the area on one of the many walks including Mam Tor and The Great Ridge Walk which offer one of the best views in the Peak District.
