You can get started here if it's all new to you with a simple Climbing Taster (over 7s) or Climbing Trial (all ages!) session, where you'll try out a bit of low level climbing before hitting the big 9m wall for 2 rope climbs and an abseil: a great way to try everything out at once! There's always private instructor hire available too if you've got nervous types who need a bit more one to one focus.
Once you know the kids like it, their friendly Junior Climbing Club runs every Saturday 5pm to 6.30pm and will guide under 12s through basic bouldering and climbing techniques, climbing safety principles, basic rope techniques and loads of games to pull it all together. You can sign up for a week (£15) or for the full 5 week course (£60), either way needing to book in advance!
If they're wanting to stick low down (it's no easier, mind, just lower down!) then they can stick to the Bouldeting Zone with it's cave feature, natural wall effects and over hangs, all under 5m.
There's a free spectator area overlooking the centre so you can see the kids getting their adventure on, but do bear in mind that under 7s will need a non climbing adult supervisor to come in with them and just be a bit more present.
And being attached to the excellent Revolution Skatepark, there are plenty more options to extend your day's adventure, too!
