Ramsgate Main Sands

The beautiful Ramsgate Main Sands is a wide and long sandy beach ideal for classic family days out for paddling, sunbathing, sand castling and strolls. It is deemed a safe swimming destination and has reassuring seasonal lifeguard cover. Dog bans are in place May through September keeping the beach pleasant and clean. You are welcome to walk your dog at other times provided of course you clean up after them. Wardens are often on site. Immediate vicinity amenities include accessible toilets, promenade, children's amusements, arcades, touristy kiosks of all kinds and restaurants offering al fresco dining.
