Plas Menai National Outdoor Centre If you are looking for an action packed day out, grab your towel and swimming togs and head over to Plas Menai, the National Outdoor Centre for Wales based on the banks of Menai Strait and experience one of our exciting activity day taster sessions. Sessions run in the morning and afternoon or if you've a lot of energy to burn, come along for the whole day! Try your hand at sailing, windsurfing, kayaking or the increasingly popular stand up paddleboarding, all under the careful guidance and watchful eye of our team of highly qualified and friendly instructors. Our activities are suitable for anyone aged 8yrs and upwards. We provide all the necessary gear; wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets, but you will need to bring your swimming togs, a towel, and a change of shoes that you don't mind getting a bit wet. (Old trainers or wetsuit boots are perfect!). We also have a cafe onsite where you can grab a drink and something to eat before or after your activity.
