Attraction Information
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch otherwise known as LlanfairPG Station.
It translates as St. Mary's Church in the hollow of the White Hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the church of St. Tysilio near the Red Cave." Visitors love to see the station's name up on the side of the building and pose for a picture. It is also a novelty to print off a very long train ticket, which features the station's full name.
Despite the hype, there is actually nothing to do at Llanfair PG, but you will certainly want to have your photo taken by a sign (the station is popular and has a helpful pronunciation guide written underneath). There is a decent tourist office if you need some inspiration.
