About The Tour
Did you know that Paddington has some real-life inspirations? On this tour, you'll have the chance to visit places that played a role in author Michael Bond's creation of the lovable bear character. Swing by Paddington Station, where it all began, and marvel at the statue of Paddington himself, complete with his suitcase and iconic hat. You'll learn about the history behind the station and its connection to the bear who arrived from Darkest Peru.
Follow the famous bear's paw prints all over London and discover the wide range of sites and key locations that were featured in more than 20 books. Like feature film locations from both movies and many other famous landmarks along the way! You'll get to visit Mr Gruber's antique shop on Portobello Road, stop by the world-famous Portobello Market and the inspiration for the home of the loveable Bear and the Browns at Windsor Gardens.
The tour starts at Paddington Railway Station where you can visit the Paddington statue and buy yourself a souvenir from the Paddington Shop! You'll meet your knowledgeable guide who will be filling you in on all of Paddington's adventures, gossip and secrets as you make your way around town.
