Level access is throughout the wider estate, with gravelled paths in the gardens and outside the mansion house.The principal floor of the house is only accessible via stairs. There are 24 shallow steps with no handrail. If a handrail is needed, there is an alternate staircase of 24 shallow steps with a handrail, available upon request. The basement is largely accessible except a few rooms, which have small steps.

Yes, Osterley Park and House - National Trust is dog friendly Dogs are only allowed in the formal gardens during our off-peak season with leads on (November to end Feb). Dogs are allowed off-lead within the designated area on the front lawn and should be on a lead elsewhere in the park. Dogs must be on a lead in the Stables Courtyard, Causeway, café, and shop. Only assistance dogs are permitted in Osterley House.
