About The Pod - YMCA Hawker Centre
The Pod soft play at YMCA Hawker Centre is a fun place for children to climb, jump, swing, stretch, wriggle, balance and bounce whatever the weather.! Based at the YMCA Hawker Centre, The Pod is a two-storey soft play installation open 7 days a week for play sessions, private hire and children's parties. With activities and equipment for all ages up to 11, babies, toddlers and children can be active, use their imaginations and let off steam in a fun, safe environment you enjoy a rest in the riverside cafe. The Pod has everything a child needs for an energetic, creative, interactive indoor adventure and includes a Wavy slide, Tubular slide, Ball pit and cannon, Wriggle tunnel, Bash Pads, and Toddler Zone.
Our newly reopened sensory room offers a world of exploration and discovery – perfect for children under 2 and those with SEN! The Pod is packed with everything your child needs for an energetic, creative, and interactive indoor adventure.
Thanks to our new heating and air conditioning system at the Pod, visitors can now enjoy a more comfortable experience year-round, with improved climate control no matter the weather!

With activities and equipment for all ages up to 10, babies, toddlers and children can be active, use their imaginations and let off steam in a fun, safe environment while visitors can enjoy hot and cold drinks and food from our riverside café. With our newly reopened sensory room, children can explore, and discover – for under 2s and children with SEN!
With the installation of our new heating and air conditioning system at the Pod, visitors can now enjoy a much more comfortable experience all year round, with improved climate control, whatever the weather!
