About Finnegan's World

Finnegan’s World is a boutique soft play café designed with both children and grown-ups in mind. Housed in a beautifully reimagined former bank building, it offers a calm, thoughtfully designed environment where little ones can climb, crawl, imagine and explore — while parents relax with genuinely good coffee in a welcoming, well-considered space.

Rather than overwhelming noise or rows of plastic, Finnegan’s World focuses on quality over quantity, blending physical play, imaginative role play and comfort to create a place families genuinely enjoy spending time together.

What to Expect

Finnegan’s World is best suited to children aged 0–7 years, with clearly defined zones that allow babies, toddlers and older children to play safely and confidently. The space is bright, airy and full of character, retaining original architectural features that give it a warm, special feel.

Relax while your children play safely within easy sight

At Finnegan’s World, parents can truly relax while little adventurers explore. Our boutique soft play space has been thoughtfully designed so the play structure is clearly visible from the café seating area, meaning you can keep an eye on your child without hovering or constantly moving around the venue.

Settle in with a coffee, chat with friends, or simply take a well-earned breather while the kids climb, slide, and giggle their way through playtime. The layout makes it easy to stay connected to your child’s play while enjoying the comfort of the café space.

It’s a simple idea that parents love — great visibility, peace of mind, and a calmer experience for everyone.

No adult entry fee because family outings shouldn’t cost extra

We believe family days out should feel welcoming, simple, and good value.

That’s why one accompanying adult per paying child enters free at Finnegan’s World. Many play venues charge adults just to supervise, but we think parents and carers shouldn’t have to pay simply to watch their children play.

Our approach keeps visits more affordable and family-friendly, whether you’re popping in for a quick play session or meeting friends for a relaxed catch-up.

It’s one of the small details that makes a big difference — great play for kids, fairer pricing for families.

Barista-quality coffee and café treats parents genuinely look forward to

Finnegan’s World isn’t just designed for children — it’s designed for parents too.

Our café serves premium barista-quality coffee, alongside a carefully chosen selection of pastries and snacks. Whether you need a morning pick-me-up, a mid-play cappuccino, or a quiet moment with a latte, the café experience is an important part of what makes visiting feel special.

Many parents tell us they return not only because their children love the play space, but because the coffee is genuinely good.

It’s soft play with a café you’ll actually want to sit in — not just somewhere to wait.
