Olympic Park Slide
London, Greater LondonAbout Olympic Park Slide
The Olympic Park slide is an iconic visitor attraction which loops and twists around ArcelorMittal Orbit, a viewing platform and impressive structure located within London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Trust us when we say you won't want to miss this!
ArcelorMittal Orbit
Designed by Turner prize winning artist Anish Kapoor this is the UK's tallest sculpture offering panoramic views across London. The 2 observation platforms have 20-mile-wide views giving a birds eye view of The Lee Valley Velopark, London Stadium, new home of West Ham United and the lush greenery of surrounding Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. We think you'll have a fabulous experience seeing London in a unique way for the top. Plus, interactive screens will help you understand the view and landmarks in front of you.
The Olympic Park Slide- Ride the Slide
A hair-raising experience of exhilaration and fun! This is a slide you have to ride once in your life- a must for anyone visiting London. Get ready to be brave as you zoom down the helter skelter twists and turns from the top of the ArcelorMittal Orbit observation tower. After getting on a specially designed rider mat, you'll experience tight corkscrews, gentle curves and transparent sections giving you a flash of the world outside!
You can expect to reach speeds of up to 15 miles per hour on your way down the slide. Awesome! We must warn you though being totally enclosed in a long tunnel might not be for everyone. So, if you have a tendency to feel claustrophobic this might be one you watch instead.
The Vaughans UK travel family bloggers and digital creators recently approved the Olympic Park Slide for families with an Instagram reel. They gave riding the slide a thumbs up saying: " Next time you are in London with kids check out this unique attraction that they will love."
