About The Wave Bristol

Fancy getting your inner surfer on, for the ultimate surfing experience and riding some quality waves? Then you're in luck, come along to The Wave Bristol's man-made wave park that is also the first inland-surfing destination of its kind!

What The Wave Is About

Everyone is welcome here, regardless of age or abilities and can all experience some perfect waves. Whether you're an intermediate surfer, advanced surfer or attending some beginner surf sessions, you're all welcome here, for lots of fun and powerful waves!

But The Wave Bristol isn't just about a surf lesson or safe waves. It's also about encouraging everyone to get back to nature, improving mental health benefits and their well-being too. Not to mention enjoying tasty food & drink, having a fabulous day out and experiencing the joy of surfing in the process! They even use 100% sustainable energy to power their wave pool! Now that's pretty neat.

Surfing for people of all ages and abilities

The Wave offers surfing for people of all ages and abilities, creating perfect waves all day, every day. From beginners stepping onto a board for the first time, to our experienced regular surfers using the facility like an outdoor gym.

More than just surfing

There’s so much more to do than surfing too and The Wave is free to enter. Kids can play for hours in the play park, and there’s a skate park which is great for

scooters and skateboards. The restaurant serves food all day, right on the water’s edge.

Stay at The Wave

Our tents are great for families, couples or groups of friends. Our glamping style tents are kitted out with comfortable beds, a kitchenette, woodburners, private toilet and a large balcony.

A short walk away you’ll find the waves rolling, the welcoming Clubhouse – home to our brilliant surf shop and cafe-bar serving delicious food and drink, a roof terrace for taking in the views, a lake walk and more.
