Monk Park Farm Visitor centre is one of ‘Yorkshire’s best places to visit.’
Situated in the heart of Herriot country, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, this children’s farm has lots to offer families. There are indoor and outdoor feeding areas that’ll get you close up to the animals, including lambs, sheep, ponies, pigs, cattle, deer, hens, rabbits, guinea pigs, llamas, alpacas, wallabies and much more.
The adventure playground and extended petting barn are great places to learn and make some furry friends. Kids can also blow off some steam and can race their friends around the electric pedal car arena. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the farm on a barrel ride or get everyone together to walk the nature trail and spot local wildlife in and around the lake. There are lots of animals to meet and feed!

At Monk Park farm the whole family can have a great day out whatever the weather. everyday get up close to lots of our farm animals with regular handling and feeding activities during the day , we also have 2 huge play areas with Jumping Pillows, Zip Lines , Swings, Slides, Climbing frames and more, plus our woodland walk is fully accessible for all
Interactive animal handling sessions daily
Everyday we have lots of interactive animal handling sessions that change with the season , it could be cuddle a piglet, bottle feed a lamb, cuddle the guinea pigs , groom the bunnies, meet the Bugs and creepy crawlies and more, always check the website our social media pages as some activities are seasonal
A Whole mix of Education and Play in one place
Kids and grownups LOVE Monk Park Farm, you can be cuddling guinea pigs one minute then bouncing around on the Jumping Pillows the next. One thing is for certain you wont get bored !!
