Knaresborough Pool

One section of the pool is shallow throughout and is particularly suitable for youngsters and learners but there are plenty of opportunities for serious swimmers and adults too.

Until this time, Knaresborough Swimming Pool will remain open seven days a week. On bank holidays they are open from 7am until 4pm.

Head over to the Knaresborough Wellbeing Hub for a wide range of activities and classes. Enjoy a competitive game of badminton or basketball with your friends and family. There is also room for five-a-side matches too! The Wellbeing Hub also doubles up as the ultimate party pad, so why not book your kid's upcoming birthday party here? They'll have plenty of room to run around, dance and play party games.

Accessibility

There are accessible changing rooms and facilities for those with disabilities.

The Knaresborough Wellbeing Hub is fully accessible for wheelchair users. There are also induction loop systems in place too.

Food & Drink

You can expect a family-friendly cafe to unwind and refuel in after your day of fun in the leisure pool.

Transport & Parking for Visitors

Situated on the southeast side of Knaresborough at the top of the High street, the Knaresborough pool is easily accessible from the town centre, Only a 5-minute walk, a short bus journey or by car.

If you are visiting by car, you will need to use York Place car park (HG5 0AD) which is a short walk from the pool. Parking costs will be reimbursed (up to two hours) for customers. In order for us to do so, we will need either;

• A receipt (if you pay for the parking via card, you will be able to request a receipt from the machine) OR
• A clear and readable photograph of the car parking ticket on your phone (please do not bring the ticket it needs to be displayed in the car)

If you are unable to provide a receipt or photograph you can bring the car park ticket on your next visit (please ask at reception for a retrospective reimbursement voucher).

You can expect electric car charging points, bicycle storage and a large modern play area will also open in October 2023.
