Attraction Information
Hesketh Park is only a short walk away from Southport city centre, has had over £3 million pounds spent on it and it is free to visit, brilliant.
Everything has been reconstructed and restored to its former glory, plus they have added mini golf, a play area and lots of Healthy Walks trails you can do with family or friends. You can also bring dogs, but they will need to be kept on the lead and, as usual, you will have to clean up after them!
There is a lake with beautiful fountains and waterfalls, a conservatory with unusual plants, plus a number of gardens, including the Clock Garden, The Specimen Garden and the Herbaceous Walk. This is a beautiful and magical place to be and is great for running around with your mates and exploring, or having a gentle stroll with family and taking everything in. Also a good spot for a picnic, playing frisbee or maybe some ball games.
