Travel deep under the mountain where you’ll be greeted by a mysterious boatman; he'll sail you on your quest through a waterfall and way back to the Dark Ages. As you leave the boat you'll be guided through immense caverns and tunnels where ancient Welsh tales are told and brought to life with dramatic scenes, light and sound effects.
As you're guided along the underground tunnels and through the vast caverns, ancient Welsh legends are brought to life. The stories told include:
The tale of Merlin discovering a Red and White Dragon found fighting beneath the collapsing foundations of a Welsh King's castle.
The story of the sunken lands of Catre'r Gwaelod near Borth, where still, it is said, you can still hear the town's bells ringing.
The legend of the fight between King Arthur and his evil Nephew Mordred and Arthur's final journey to Avalon.
Get ready to explore Dragon River; without giving anything away, your adventures underground may disturb the fiery guardians of the Labyrinth. Escape their clutches if you ever want to return safely to the outside world.

King Arthur's Labyrinth includes a boat ride and a 1/2 mile steady walk with regular stops to enjoy the ancient legends. The temperature is always cool underground so wrap up warm and wear good footwear too.

Deep underground, a Dark Age Boatman will guide you safely through the caverns and tunnels of the Labyrinth where ancient Welsh legends are waiting to be discovered. Enjoy tales of dragons, giants, fierce battles and of the mighty Welsh warrior King Arthur.

Wales where North Wales meets Mid Wales and an area steeped in myths and legends.
We are based at Corris Caverns
Both above and below ground, Corris Caverns has so many of Wales' top attractions all in one place. There is something for everyone, come rain or shine. In addition to King Arthur's Labyrinth, there are 9 Craft Workshops offering fabulous handmade designs and creative workshops where you can have fun making your own crafts. There's a Welsh Legends Maze and Corris Mine Explorers underground exploration as well as a great cafe, Welsh Deli and childrens' play area. There is also a Mach Loop (low-flying military aircraft) information area and viewing point. Free all day parking and dogs are welcome in the Corris Craft Centre, Cafe and Welsh Legends Maze.
