Corris Craft Centre
Machynlleth, PowysAbout Corris Craft Centre
Come along to the Corris Craft Centre and get creative. Paint your own pottery in the Quarry Pottery studio! Choose your pottery and then use sponges, brushes, templates and paints to create your masterpiece. You don't need any artistic ability or great creative urges, just be willing to pick up a brush and be pleasantly surprised at what you're able to produce!
In The Candle Studio you can make a unique pair of candles; starting with 2 wicks build up the layers by dipping them into a range of hot coloured waxes (ages 5+).
Make and decorate your own bar of chocolate in the Chockablock studio and learn about the chocolate-making process.
Plus the kids can make the most of the weather by treating themselves to a scramble on the little adventure playground outside!
There's lots more to do with King Arthur's Labyrinth, the Welsh Legends Maze and Corris Mine Explorers all starting from the Corris Craft Centre. There's a great cafe too with bottle warming, high chairs and a really warm welcome. Dogs are welcome.
We have been established over 40 years!
We are a part of Corris Caverns; a collection of 9 craft workshops, 2 underground experiences, an outdoor maze, great cafe and Welsh Deli.
Have fun making your own crafts in many of the Craft Workshops
Enjoy: Pottery Painting with a choice of ceramics, paints and stencils. Your finished artwork will be glazed and fired.
