Go Ape Aberfoyle
Aberfoyle, Stirling and FalkirkAbout Go Ape Aberfoyle
Mountains, moorland, valleys, highlands, rivers and lochs - you’ll see it all as you clamber through Go Ape Aberfoyle's treetops. Go Ape Aberfoyle is the first of their three Scottish courses and you’ll find two of the longest zip wires in the UK here! So, buckle up and get ready to enjoy the ride!
Fun Activities for Thrill Seekers
Adventure lovers, you're in for a world of unprecedented views, monkey mayhem and unforgettable adventures!
Before the mayhem can begin you must attend an informative safety briefing but don't worry it's not your average safety briefing... You'll learn all about which clips to use and where to put them and what to do in an emergency. You'll get to test out what you've learnt during a safety practice before you go up high.
Now it's time for the adventure!
There’s no time to catch your breath on the Aberfoyle Treetop Challenge. Head for heights and expect nothing but thrills! You’ll kick things off with a thrilling 323m zip line experience before you’ve barely set foot in the trees. With a series of high-rise challenges and tricky obstacles up to 22m high in the tree tops, this is one for the ultimate thrill-seeker! Zipline fanatics will LOVE the dramatic finish of the final zip line. You'll soar through the tree canopy before swiftly being brought back down to earth.
The introduction of a dual course means your tribe can easily fill the allotted 2-3 hours with rope ladders, dual zip wires and a tree lift. Choose between the moderate or extreme route depending on how confident you feel. The courses also feature back-to-back extreme crossings which will make a few knees quake - are you brave enough?
If you like the sound of the zip wires and would rather skip the obstacles in between, the high-flying Zip Line Experience is just the thing for you! With two exhilarating rides on cross-valley zips, you'll experience the best views the course has to offer with this quick zip fix.
Prefer to keep your feet firmly planted on solid ground? No problem! Explore the forest floor on foot with scenic walking routes or hop on a bike and discover the thrill of cycling through nature. With something for everyone, Go Ape Aberfoyle is the ideal destination for families looking to reconnect with the great outdoors!
Food & Drink
So, you've just crushed the high ropes and all of the tree-to-tree crossings and you're feeling invincible. But even unstoppable apes need to fill up their tummies after a day of fun in the canopies. Pump some energy back into your bodies with delicious grub from the onsite cafe.
Bringing your own food with you? You'll love the scenic picnic benches overlooking the forest. It's the perfect way to end your Go Ape adventure while soaking up the stunning views as you eat.
