About Go Ape Aberfoyle

Mountains, moorland, valleys, highlands, rivers and lochs - you’ll see it all as you clamber through Go Ape Aberfoyle's treetops. Go Ape Aberfoyle is the first of their three Scottish courses and you’ll find two of the longest zip wires in the UK here! So, buckle up and get ready to enjoy the ride!

NEW FOR 2025 - Axe Throwing now open at Aberfoyle.

Fun Activities for Thrill Seekers

Adventure lovers, you're in for a world of unprecedented views, monkey mayhem and unforgettable adventures!

Before the mayhem can begin you must attend an informative safety briefing but don't worry it's not your average safety briefing... You'll learn all about which clips to use and where to put them and what to do in an emergency. You'll get to test out what you've learnt during a safety practice before you go up high.

Ride Scotland's longest dual zip

Operating off-peak from September to June, Zip Line Experience at Aberfoyle takes place on the opening and closing zip wires of our Treetop Challenge course, which is open all year.

A zip line experience that includes two huge rides on Scotland's longest dual zips running straight through the Trossachs National Park in the Scottish Highlands.

On your zip wire journeys across the valley you'll soar side by side over a waterfall and fly above the pines for a combined 750 metres of adrenaline fuelled fun!

Super high thrills!

Ready to push your limits?

Treetop Challenge boasts six exhilarating zip wires offering breathtaking views from heights of up to 22 meters above the forest floor, including the heart-pounding 426-meter cross-valley zip wire, this adventure promises an unforgettable experience for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike.

Epic heights, jaw-dropping views, pure exhilaration!
