Mugdock Country Park
Glasgow, Glasgow and StrathclydeAbout Mugdock Country Park
There is something for everyone at Mugdock Country Park.
Get involved in archery (on special event days), explore the castle or take part in the history trail, scavenger hunt or tree trails. Plus, year round you can pick up an Orienteering pack for £2.00 from the Stables Gift Shop and relive your Be Prepared days with the kids!
At the welcoming modern visitor centre they have both a children's play park for the younger kids to enjoy and a rather more challenging adventure assault course for older children to get stuck into! Ideal for letting them continue to fizz once you older types need a break.
There are over 2.5 miles of excellent cycle paths laid out around the park, and now with their new bike hire facility you don't even have to take their kite with you, choosing instead if you wish to pick up one of their high standard fat tyre bikes, tandems, balance bikes, child trailers and tag-a-longs - everything you need for a wheely good country jaunt!
There's a cafe and a more formal restaurant for fuller fare but you're also welcome to picnic so long as you're tidy about it. Lovely!
