Ravenscourt Park
London, Greater LondonAbout Ravenscourt Park
Ravenscourt Park is a 13 acre open public space with numerous family friendly features from casual sports facilities to playgrounds with oodles of well cultivated and explorable green space in between for traditional family games, nature walks and picnicking.
There are 4 separate adventure play areas with equipment custom designed for under 5 year olds, and a larger more comprehensive version suitable for 5 to 13 year olds with much more challenging equipment. Sporting facilities on site comprise Tennis courts, astroturf Football pitch, outdoor Basketball and Netball courts plus a Bowling green.
There's also a small lake with island which is usually popular with waterbirds, so take along your toast crusts! This bit is a great chance to sneak in some secret schooling as the lake itself used to feed the moat of Paddenswick Manor. What kid doesn't love a good moat and drawbridge?!
Other features including a seasonally filled Paddling Pool and large Sandpit play zone, spacious Garden Centre and family friendly cafe.
It's based really close to Hammersmith Tube Station, and the main entrances to Ravenscourt Park are on King Street, Ravenscourt Avenue, Ravensourt Road, Paddenswick Road and Goldhawk Road.
