Attraction Information

Dublin Zoo is home to some 400 animals in safe environment where education and conservation combine for an exciting and unforgettable experience! Come in and spot giraffes and zebras on the Plains of Africa, even catch a glimpse of the vast herd of Asian elephants in the Rainforest! In fact, you can go all around the world and still be home in time for dinner!

There is a Sea Lion Cove and Chilean Flamingo habitat and one can see the sea lions!

Enjoy varied keeper talks up to 9 times daily from March through September and learn even more about your favourite birds and beasties! You'll be surprised how much even young kids can remember when they're being taught about something they're deeply immersed and interested in, so there's no better time and place! With this in mind the zoo also offers a wide variety of educational programmes which cover everything from zoo camps to bird watching sessions, parent and toddler mornings and plenty more so it's well worth looking into.

There are plenty of places to snack it up here but happily you're also allowed to bring a picnic, so if you're counting the euros then pack some pasties and save a bundle!
