Causewayhead Park
Stirling, Stirling and FalkirkAbout Causewayhead Park
There's a great adventure playground at Causewayhead Park amidst plenty of green space, ideal for a traditional style family day out with games and a picnic at the tables provided. So bring your bats and balls, bring your kite and frisbees, and bring a smile to the munchkins' faces!
There are numerous small structures in the play area for climbing and swinging and such, plus a seasonally filed stone paddling pool super for chilling out in the hotter months.
There are several items and areas suited to smaller children but plenty more equipment for older kids and some requiring significant bravery and skill to negotiate so even the fairly big ones should be entertained and challenged.
As an educational bonus from the rear of the park you can access a family suitable walking route which will take you up to the Wallace monument, where you can learn all about the life of William Wallace! Be sure to check out the hours ahead of time if you want to actually go in however as it's currently under sympathetic refurbishment.
