The Pottery Place
Witney, OxfordshireAbout The Pottery Place
In Witney is the original Paint Your Own Pottery, Mosaic and Craft Studio. Come and get crafty and creative in our fully equipped studio with a choice of painting, mosaics and Decopatch with our friendly sta on hand. We run craft workshops during the school holidays and we are a great venue for children's parties. We welcome artists of any age from a few days old: we are famous for capturing baby and child hands and footprints to make priceless gifts and keepsakes (we can take prints on pottery, clay and plaster) but we do loads more as well, including helping our younger painters make some lovely ‘souvenir' paintings, and we have plenty to keep Mum and Dad out of mischief too. We also have a range of teas, coffees, soft drinks and snacks to keep those energy levels up. The Pottery Place has a big supply of aprons for everyone in the family, but it's a good idea not to wear your favourite clothes, just in case! Regarding disabled access we have space downstairs to do all the activities, please try to let us know in advance so we can set a table aside for you. Please note our toilet is upstairs, but a neighbouring cafe is happy for our less mobile customers to use theirs.
