One word: ponies! Kids who simply can't get enough of these four legged friends will be begging for a visit to Belwade Farm World Horse Welfare.
Horses, ponies and donkeys who’ve come from tough backgrounds have a snug shelter here as the team are all about caring for creatures who’ve been abused or neglected. They’ll be nurtured back to health before finding loving new places to live, but not before you come for a visit and a few cuddles!
Families can tour the stables, meeting and greeting as they go, and learn loads about the caring process for these amazing animals. You can even take part in pony focused workshops and grooming! Before you go, explore the area on a variety of woodland trails - some following the River Dee or even venturing into fairy territory. Just watch out for the trolls!
