Attraction Information
At Stonehaven Open Air Swimming Pool the facilities start with their huge Olympic-sized, 50m long pool and lido full of cleaned sea water and maintained at 29c - that's a balmy 84f! And the sheltered sun terraces are reportedly often warmer than the Med...
There are quiet swims and lane swimming sessions ideal for folks building their skills and getting their exercise, but there's also a water chute (competent swimmers only), a Diving Platform and a great wet n wild session where there's an enormous inflatable obstacle course set across the pool! Teenagers may also be interested in the midnight swims which are undertaken beneath the stars with music in the background. Cool!
The paddling pool is a great hit with the youngest visitors and their parents, it's intended for under 8s only with their grown up. There's also full wheelchair access with a hoist and friendly assistance for swimmers with special needs.
There's a Splash Cafe too with a dry area inside for non-swimmers and a 'wet window' for you drippy ones to grab yourselves snacks and whatnot without moistening up the joint! Loads of free parking right beside the place too. Bonus!
