About Aberdeen Science Centre
The Aberdeen Science Centre uses interactive, hands-on exhibits and live science shows to help visitors discover more about the world and the physics of life all around them. Be sure to bring your brains along with you, as we can almost guarantee visitors of all ages will head home having learnt something new!
For the Younger Visitors:
Monthly Little Explorer Days offer fun, hands-on science activities that encourage learning through play. Each Little Explorer Day workshop lasts 30 minutes and is supported by related activity tables on the Exhibition Floor to go and get stuck into afterwards!
Birthday Parties:
Round up at least 10 of your freinds for a unique birthday party experience - learn about rainbows and go inside a bubble or beat our robots - you decide!
Onsite cafe:
Our cafe is owned by Grub Fresh Foods, this is dog friendly and avaialble to sit in or take away. There is also space upstairs or in our garden if you would rather bring a picnic.
Make sure they bring their pocket money along too as the Science Shop has a great range of toys, models, experiment kits, bubbles, puzzles and books!

Aberdeen Science Centre is one of Aberdeen’s top visitor attractions and offers the perfect day out for the whole family.
With more than 65 interactive exhibits, our friendly robot RoboThespian and The incredible OPITO Theatre of Energy, every visit to Aberdeen Science Centre is unique.
There are daily shows and workshop for you to take part in and monthly Little Explorer Days for pre-school children.
We also host birthday parties, evening events and room hire.

Our science theme changes every 2-3 months, one visit you could be exploring all things about space, another will be looking at sustainable fashion or engineering challenges.
Our shows and workshops are delivered daily at no extra cost, and are a great addition to your visit to enjoy some hands-on science fun.
