Southport Pleasureland is a fantastic family orientated theme park situated right on the golden beaches of this gorgeous fun filled seaside town.
The park has a great variety of rides suitable for all ages, a fun filled family arcade, fantastic indoor and outdoor performance areas, and a range of fun stalls plus a good variety of food and drink outlets. They are one of the best traditional UK theme parks and Pleasureland also benefits from an exciting Go Kart track for some real fun.
More recently, Southport Pleasureland has added the Lakeside Miniature Railway to its list of attractions and this is currently being revamped to improve the track and surrounding areas of the railway so it can be brought back to its former glory and to provide even more fun on your family fun days out.
The park is designed with families in mind so the rides can be ridden by most ages, although sometimes little visitors need to be accompanied. There is also a fantastic family oriented SEGA prize arcade with air hockey, virtual reality games and machines to test your skill.
Aside from the rides, there are lots of fun stalls including some real old favourites like Hook a Duck and the Arabian Derby! And if you have a caravan or camper there is overnight parking available!

Still as good as it always has been

I've been going to Pleasureland since I was a child and it hasn't lost its charm on me now I'm older. The facilities are looking a little aged over time but it's still a great day out for me and my family
