About Fired Art Designs
Fired Art Designs offers the family a great chance to get creative in a lovely studio made from a converted mill that is over 200 years old, set in a third of an acre garden. We love providing customers with a relaxing and enjoyable experience that will help bring out your creativity, whatever your age or ability level.
We have lots of choices on offer for you at Fired Art Designs, “Paint your own Pottery”, decorate a t-shirt, “Clay Around”, or have a go on a Potter's Wheel. You will be shown all the shapes, tools, and gadgets that will help you make the most of your time in the studio. Once your masterpiece is complete, you will be given a unique receipt with your pottery number on it. Your item will be glazed and fired and ready for collection in 7 days.
The studio can seat 28 people, and had a total renovation in 2013, which included the installation of a glass roof, giving more light to work by. If you would like to immortalise your little ones when they are still small, you can choose from baby hand and foot prints set in clay, or for painted prints to be added to items such as mugs, plates, money boxes, baubles and more!
They hold a Craft Club on some Sundays throughout the year as well as Holiday Clubs during school holidays. Adults are welcome to come and paint with the kids, however they can only be unaccompanied if they are aged 8 years or older. They offer a number of parties, some of which are great for children, such as “Claying Around”, t-shirt painting using ‘Paint N Wear' fabric paints, “Pick a Pot and Paint”, and “Soap and Bath”.
