- Indoor and Soft Play Areas
Xplore Softplay is inside the Xscape Castleford complex and offers a great physical play adventure for kids under both 12 years old and 1.45m.
The exciting main play zone boasts multiple levels in bright colourful padding concealing oodles of delightful play features to scramble under, hurdle over, slide down and hurtle through! There's a separate age restricted zone for toddlers and babies so you know that little feet and fingers are comparatively safe and little minds catered for with fun and friendly developmental fare.
There's also a 4D Mini Golf Adventure on site here, boasting 2 differing and atmospheric courses with varying levels of spooky: one with 6 holes suitable for smalls and one with 9 holes a bit creepier and suiting bigger and braver types best! Plus, beyond that you've got the nigh innumerable pleasures of Xscape to choose from as well! You're going to be here forever!
There are also a smart range of party options to consider here, ranging from the Classic and slightly longer Soft Play packages with the usual play, eat, celebrate combo; to Build A Bear parties where they take a teddy home; a Disco version (you can work that one out yourselves!); and all the way up to the Half And Half version where they get golf as well as play time and all the rest. Phew!

Good Day, value for money 4 out of 5 stars
I went here with my then just 4year old about a year ago and she loved it. I loved how little they charge for the adults; especially for somewhere like xscape. They could do with possibly removing a small number of the tables as when busy it was very cramped. We will go again (not in school holidays though)Anonymous
Great fun 5 out of 5 stars
Affordable entry prices. Baby area is kept clear of older children there is even a button to notify the staff of older children in the baby area. My 3 year old son and 1 year old daughter enjoyed it.Sonia Louise Sprake
