Attraction Information
Brampton Park offers a fantastic adventure multi activity adventure play area with loads of classic sturdy equipment for kids 2 to 12 to play on, plus a giant sandpit to get creative in and a water play area too! So it's a great idea to pop a change of togs in the bag for the inevitably muuum, I'm wet!"
There are also sensory and rose gardens to explore, plus an aviary and a pond which are a delight for small ones. The sensory garden is also particularly popular with those who have sensory impairments or disabilities.
As a bonus there is a museum in the park plus an excellent little miniature railway which runs on Sundays May to September but only in fine weather. There is also a Pets Corner marked on their park map, but no hint as to what it contains so best strategy is not to mention it but head up to the North end near the museum and see what you can find!
There are other attractions right on the doorstep here worth checking out, but they're managed separately so be sure our listings for information on the Cheeky Monkeys indoor play area and the Newcastle Borough Museum and Art Gallery!"
