The Yard offers a tasteful little haven for parents alongside a pretty smashing little play frame suited to under 7s. There are multiple levels of the usual delightful padded craziness with all the fun little features they know to expect from slides and tunnels to clamber nets and a ball pool. There's a designated under 2's play space too to keep the wee ones safe, plus a scrum my cafe with locally sourced goodies for while you're watching the mayhem from a safe distance!
There's also a side programme of classes, events and activities including Boogie & Bounce (every Thuesday at 14:15) and Scribble & Dribble (Thursday 10:30)! Less regulated but still frequent are Paint A Pot sessions, musical storytelling time and pop up shops for the grown ups to browse.
Plus for just £12 a head you can have your party here with 2 hours of play, a birthday picnic (sandwich, crisps, jar of squash, fruit, jelly and cupcake), a special party bag and exclusive use of the party room, or alternately for a bit more book the whole place just for yourselves: the whole 9 yards at The Yard!
Worth noting that when they're really packed you can find additional parking at the Westside Gym, on Foundry Road and at the Scotgate car park.
