Deep in the heart of the ancient Rockingham Forest, lies Fineshade Woods, one of the largest woodlands in Northamptonshire. It’s the perfect place to escape the big city and take some fresh air in the wild. Get comfy in the hide because there’s lots of wildlife to see - from majestic red kites in the sky, to shy deer peeking through the shrubs.

Got your walking shoes on? Let’s go and explore - there’s a network of trails through the forest that you can discover on foot or by bike. Take your camera and capture some of the fantastic views along the way. If you venture down into the woods, you might find a few familiar faces from your kids favourite stories!
