About Planet Ice Arena Peterborough
Previously Peterborough Skydome Ice Rink, this is now a Planet Ice Arena! A busy ice skating rink that's great for families, they offer open skate and dedicated family sessions, plus special kid's sessions, birthday parties and disco evenings! So whatever kind of skating you're after and in whatever company, there's something for you on the timetable! Helpful if you've got either nervous or overexcitable kids: you can plan for a family session and know they won't be intimidated or bother anyone with their sillies. Perfect!
Total beginners can pick up a penguin or some friendly expert lessons here, plus those who discover some natural skills and fancy taking it a bit further can access some cool speciality lessons in figure skating, ice hockey, ice dancing and speed skating! All of these naturally have differing qualities and benefits but they all really boost the kids' development with balance, fitness and confidence so it's got to be a better hobby than the console!
You can access oodles of discounts to save a bunch on your family day out by signing up to get one of their Ice Cards, especially with large families or those that tend to bring a dozen friends along it's well worth a look!
Plus keep a sly eye on the ice peeps when the school holidays approach (you know they're coming!) because they usually put on seasonal events and extra activities as well as staying open even longer! Handy!
