Rides & Attractions
The amusement park has a great mix of rides suitable for all ages! If you like rides that spin you right round, then you'll enjoy classic rides like the Waltzers, Snowjet, and the flying swings! If you love to feel the wind beneath your wings, then high-flying adrenaline rides will satisfy your desire for adrenalin. Take a shot on the frisbee ride, as you're swung up and down and round like a pendulum! For the little ones, they can soar high in their very own Dumbo car, they'll squeal with delight mid-ride as they zoom round and round.
For those young roller coaster enthusiasts, Odin’s Little Dragon Coaster will have them screaming with happiness and laughing as they zip and zoom down the track. Or the Twister! A family of 4 can really enjoy this ride together.
If you like to get wet, then the Log Flume ride is a fan favourite! If the spooky and unknown gets you and the kids excited then you'll find that the indoor Ghost Train is a fa-boo-ous ride for you! Will you be faced with sheer horror or be startled by jump scares? It's your chance to find out...
Of course, a family day trip to the theme park isn't complete with taking a spin on the firm favourite rides! From the bumpy and jumpy dodgems to the topsy-turvy Dock Funhouse attraction. It's a kid's paradise for those who love all things fun and colourful! The little ones can hop onto the Toy Set carousel on either a mini double-decker bus, Captain America's motorcycle or a LEGO truck!
Aside from the family-friendly rides, there are lots of fun stalls including some real old favourites like Hook a Duck and the Arabian Derby! And if you have a caravan or camper there is overnight parking available! Outside the gates of Southport Pleasureland, you will find the Lakeside Miniature Railway – the world’s oldest continuously running 15-inch gauge railway! A little further along from the Lakeside Miniature Railway, you will find the brand new Viking-themed adventure golf. It's an 18-hole mini golf course that will have you channelling your inner Thor! The course is divided into four themed sections to take you through all aspects of Viking life. You’ll pass through the Boat Yard and the fisherman’s hut, into the Marshland and on into the Village where you’ll pass through the homes of Vikings and on into the Market Place. Take on the Vikings and you’re bound to leave the course feeling invincible!
