Returning this autumn - Sundown Adventures!
Back by popular demand. Experience tree top thrills in a whole new light across 25 locations for a limited time between 17th October and 9th November. Go Ape Sundown Adventures offer a new level of forest fun in the dark. Become a creature of the night as you climb through the canopy on a high ropes course lit with colourful lights. Test your skills on tree top crossings and experience the thrill of a zip wire ride into the darkness. It's a unique opportunity to enjoy the forest's beauty and experience the adrenaline rush of adventure after dark. The experience takes one to two hours, and the Go Ape team are around to help throughout. It starts with a safety briefing and harness fitting. For ages 6 and up (minimum height 1.2 metres) this is an adventure that will delight kids and adults alike.
New Activity!
Looking for a fiendishly thinky-thinky, problem-solving, logic game? Go Ape's new game Stumped is for you! Solve 10 puzzles dotted around the grounds of Coombe Abbey. Each game reveals a four-digit code that opens the lock box to your next clue. Do you have what it takes?
Fun Activities for Thrill Seekers Try out the Mini Land Rover adventure! Drivers between 2-9 years old can get their first experience behind a wheel on ‘off-road’ trails. Don’t worry, accompanying adults can ride shotguns (or walk beside the Land Rovers) and will have a remote control for the cars. It's a great way to explore the forest floor if the forest canopy is a little too overwhelming.
Fancy an adventure the whole family can enjoy together? Buddy up with your tiny explorers (min 1m tall) to take on the Treetop Adventure and show off your tree-climbing skills. Got kids over 6 years old? Choose Treetop Adventure Plus instead, and explore extra features, like the Rock Wall and Prison Bar Crossing. Looking for bigger thrills? Go Ape Coventry is home to the adrenaline-pumping 12-metre Plummet and the Treetop Challenge is designed to put your bravery to the test, but don’t worry - you can still moderate the thrill level to suit you. You'll get to enjoy a buzzing 2-3 hours of high-ropes adventures with your friends, supporting each other and building your confidence together!
Zipline fanatics will go wild for the forest zipline finale at the end of each high-ropes course! After you've tackled all those intricate crossings, your final thrill will be channelled through a leap of faith and a wide grin as you glide through the sky and land on your feet (fingers crossed). If you want to try something closer to the ground, Go Ape Coventry also offers the exclusive Axe Throwing adventure. Channel your inner warrior as you aim for that all-important bulls-eye - remember it’s all about skill rather than strength!
Go Ape experiences really are an adventure lover's delight. Scope the forest floors or head for the heights, there are so many individual activities to choose from so don't feel you have to stick with what your friends or family want to do!
