About The Wave Coventry

Welcome to The Wave, a UK award-winning, indoor waterpark making a splash in the heart of Coventry!

From high-speed slides and a fun-packed splash zone to the exhilarating Wave Pool and relaxing Lazy River… There’s something for thrill, spill and chill seekers of all ages to enjoy.

The Wave Waterpark's Features:

Opened in 2019 and located in Coventry city centre, The Wave is one of the UK’s largest and newest indoor waterparks.

The Wave has 6 splashtastic slides that are precision-engineered to fill the thrill seekers with excitement, boasting everything from the disappearing floor of The Torrent, plunging in the pool at the end of The Cascade to the high-speed rollercoaster ride on The Rapids’. There's also The Cascade, a fully enclosed slide featuring areas of coloured light, becoming the most colourful slide there! Next, take a whirl on The Cyclone, one of the fastest slides here, as it sends you hurtling down in an open bowl before you plop into the pool below. You'll hit speeds of 11.48 metres per second! After that, have a go on The Rapids as you ride up and downhill, wash past tight corners and through tunnels - best experiencing it as a pair! Make a splash on the angled slope The Riptide - an almost 90 degree angled slope that will launch you down, so you better hold on tight! For a slightly more relaxed time, The Crestar makes for a fantastic water slide, with two giant spheres with added lighting effects and a few more surprises in store for you.

The younger spill seekers will enjoy The Reef; a large splash pad at the heart of the waterpark with jets, sprays and slides.

The Wave Pool, churning 20 million litres of water every day, is a place for the chill seekers to ride the waves before going to Lazy River for a gentle wind around.

The Wave is one of the most accessible leisure facilities in the UK for which it was awarded a prestigious Leading Edge Award by the World Waterpark Association.

Visitors to The Wave can receive discounted parking at Salt Lane Car Park, which is located within a few minutes walk. Located in the south of the city-centre, Coventry Train station is a 10 minute walk away.

So, get your towels, trunks and rubber rings ready… It’s time to ‘Ride The Wave’.

Child Friendly Zone's That Will Amaze Younger Visitors

The Reef is a splash zone that will amaze and excite younger visitors to The Wave. Within The Reef you will find mini slides, tipping buckets, jets and fountains.

Not one for slides? Take some time to relax in the Lazy River. Step in and you’ll be whisked away in the stream passing bubbles and water jets along the way.

If assistance is required to get into the Lazy River, a chair lift is available. Please ask a member of staff to help.

Looking to turn it up a notch? Our Wave Pool is one of our best features and is accessible to all. Remember, we’re not called The Wave for nothing! The Waves get bigger the further in you go, but you can have just as much fun splashing in the shallow end.
