Like protruding and twisted roots, meandering pathways and dramatic natural landscapes surrounding you, there is plenty of magic to be found in this atmospheric 14-acre magical forest!

Set in the gorgeous Forest of Dean, it is the place to be for all things extraordinary. It is also a popular filming location, whether it's a fantasy film, sci-fi, or family favourite film like Harry Potter. It's an ancient woodland worth visiting!

About Puzzlewood

The magical place has inspired many authors and featured in many feature films and TV shows, such as The Secret Garden, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Merlin, The Huntsman: Winter's War, and so many more. So, if you're a fan of any of these famous feature films, you have to visit (maybe in costume...if you're feeling adventurous enough!).

The 14-acre Puzzlewood boasts impressive geological features such as twisted roots, meandering pathways, and dramatic natural landscapes. Visitors can explore ancient trees, secret caves, moss-covered rocks, and a mile of winding forest trails, creating a truly enchanting and atmospheric environment.

There Are Plenty Of Family Friendly Activities!

Families can enjoy a variety of activities, including meeting farm animals like goats, donkeys, and Shetland ponies, navigating outdoor and indoor mazes with secret doors and hidden pictures, and an epic outdoor play areas.
