Attraction Information
For good, old-fashioned country fun, Old Down Country Park should be your first port of call!
There’s more than enough to keep kids happy with seasonal events all year round, as well as an adventure playground. It’s stuffed to the gills with monkey bars, slides, swings, cargo nets, a zip wire and kid’s favourite - a giant jumping pillow! Pay a visit to the Animal Park to greet piglets, alpacas and more, plus a trip wouldn’t be worthwhile without introducing yourself to local legend (and peacock), Kev. Just shout out PEAO PEAO and he’ll come running!
The main manor house has undergone a 6 million pound renovation and is an impressive landmark at the centre of rolling hills and sprawling woodlands. You’re welcome to explore the countryside on various woodland walks as well as 66 acres of lovely landscaped gardens, including the Victorian Walled Gardens and an Orchard. In fact, much of their homegrown fruit gets used in the café, so order up and sit out on one of the picnic spots overlooking the River Severn.
